The cause of death of Chef MAXCEL HARDY (40), an award-winning culinary leader known for his commitment to the local community and fighting hunger who died Monday is still unknown. Hardy competed on several Food Network shows and owned two restaurants: Jed's Detroit Pizza & Wings and Irie Smoke Shack Caribbean barbecue.
