To celebrate Juneteenth, NEGRO DIGEST has teamed with HOMAGE to produce MAJOR LEAGUE BLACKBALL — a nine-part documentary film centered around the rise and decline of African Americans in professional baseball.
This series, directed by Bayer Mack, will allow children and adults to understand the full history of the game of baseball within African American history and how sports even then was used to keep individuals healthy and promote upward progression.
With that in mind, to ensure this documentary series comes to life, Fellowship Warriors will send a portion of its proceeds from each donation received to ND Films in their endeavor to complete this series.

IN 1941, Kansas City Monarchs pitcher LEROY ROBERT "SATCHEL" PAIGE (75) led the Negro League with a 6.20 strikeout-to-walk ratio and Homestead Grays catcher JOSHUA GIBSON (35) was the leading hitter with a 1.238 on-base plus slugging percentage. Thirty years later, Paige became the first Negro League player inducted into Major League Baseball's Hall of Fame and Gibson became the second in 1972. | SHOP Retro Hoodies and Tees
