Two women have accused the former NFL Pro and ESPN host MARCELLUS WILEY (50) of raping them in his dorm room when they were students at Columbia University. Wiley was originally accused of rape and sexual assault in a lawsuit filed back in 2023, just days before the expiration of the Adult Survivors Act—a special New York state law that allows survivors to sue their alleged abusers past the statue of limitations.

The lawsuit, filed in New York Supreme Court, alleges that Wiley assaulted the plaintiff, JANINE DE NOVAIS, in her dorm room during his sophomore year in fall 1994. De Novais also named the University and its board of trustees as defendants, claiming that Columbia administrators knew about the assault, but were “dismissive” to the claims and instead demonstrated “fondness” for the first-team All-American, according to the complaint.
