RICHARD "DICK" GILBERT GRIFFEY (71) was a record producer and promotor for Soul Train, who went on to found "Sound of Los Angeles Records" (SOLAR), which was called Motown of the 1980s. Griffey also mentored MARION HUGH "SUGE" KNIGHT JR. (58) and was instrumental in the founding of Death Row Records in 1991.
