President JOE BIDEN (81) has announced that he will not seek re-election after receiving intense pressure from BARACK OBAMA (62), NANCY PELOSI (84) and other power brokers inside the Democratic party for him to quit.

Biden says he is backing vice president KAMALA HARRIS (59) to run against Republican nominee DONALD J. TRUMP (78) in his place.
