Former pro football star MICHAEL VICK (44) announced has agreed to become the head coach at Norfolk State University. Vick grew up in nearby Newport News and played quarterback in college at Virginia Tech before being drafted as the first overall pick in the NFL, where he was a four-time Pro Bowler in 13 seasons for Atlanta, Philadelphia, the New York Jets and Pittsburgh.
Vick, who announced the hiring on his Facebook page, has never coached at any level and Norfolk State did not immediately confirm the hiring.
