WESLEY BELL (49), who made history in 2019 as St. Louis County's first African-American prosecuting attorney, has defeated CORI BUSH (48) in the Democratic primary for Missouri's 1st congressional district. Bush, an outspoken critic of Israel (who also believes she can heal the sick) is the second member of the "Squad" to lose their primary this year after New York representative and fire alarm puller, JAMAAL BOWMAN (48), was defeated in June.
