First Black-owned pharmacy in 100 years opening in west Louisville this summer

Good Brothers Pharmacy, the brain child of DESHAWN KING (far left) and ISAIAH JONES (far right), are fulfilling a need in their local African-American Russell community by opening the city's first Black-owned pharmacy in 100 years. Louisville's predominately-black West End, which already suffers from a lack of convenient, affordable transportations and places to shop for food, is considered a "pharmacy desert" after CVS closed its nearest location after the BLM riots.
